WEEKEND

Had a great recording session and also did a surprise remix that I know my fans are going to love. I will put my all into providing quality music into this album. It's nice to finally live the dream. I'm so used to making mixtapes and songs that I immediately put out that I can't wait for you all to hear what i've been working on but trust it's worth the wait! It's looking like the NEVER SO FEW album will be released spring 2010. stay tuned!!!

UPDATE

How is everyone out there in internet world today!!! Tomorrow morning I leave to Atlanta to start on my next join for my upcoming album titled NEVER SO FEW. I'm very excited about this project and it feels great to finally have a good team behind me for support. I can promise there hasn't been an album like this in years and can't wait to share with you all. Stay tuned!!!

THE CREATION OF CLOSER

So I'm sitting on the couch flipping channels when I stop on HBO. Its the middle of a movie and Clive Owens appears to be seriously upset at Julia Roberts for cheating on him.

Clive Owens transforms into a madman and began to ask some of the most detailed questions about infidelity I've ever heard! He asked did his cum taste better than his(which she replied it taste like yours but sweeter), did they do it on his couch (which she replied yes), and when was the last time(she replied this afternoon). She even told him that she likes the other guy better(Jude Law).

I was hooked! I have felt the pain of being cheated on but it would have drove me to madness if my girl would have said those things. I quickly dismissed him as crazy but then thought: "wait a minute all guys wanna know what he asked but are ashamed to ask". I think its mainly because we already feel like less of a man if another 'has is way' with your loved one.

It quickly hit me that there has never been a song made like this. My one rule in making the song was HOLD NOTHING BACK! I became Clive Owen's character and began writing the song. I wanted the beat to be alive to drive my emotions. I thought once a man leaves the argument he will probably go drink or hit a club(as Clive Owens character did) and that's what prompt the sudden change in sound.

Of the thousands of songs I've made I'm most proud of that one. Its my 1st. co-produced track(along with Bobby Beck) having a say so in every small ding and there isn't a song on Earth like it. It gets the biggest reaction everytime I perform it from shock to fun and leaves the listener hooked from line one. If you haven't seen me perform it or had a chance to listen. MY THOUGHTS ON THE KANYE WEST TAYLOR SWIFT SPECTACLE

What Kanye West did was wrong and I don't approve of it. Not because of what he said(which I totally agree with) but because of when he chose to say it. His opinion is something that these blogs were made for. Not to crush a girl's dream of having the spotlight for the first time at an award show i'm sure she's watched every year since she was about 8 years old.

But as we reach the 24hr mark my opinion has not changed but my focus on my anger with the situation has changed. At first I was all for bashing Kanye but now I feel like it is amazing how they are blowing this up! Was it less than 2 weeks ago that a senator from S.C. interrupted the President of the United States and people hardly said anything but now Donald Trump wants to boycott a guy that stated his opinion about "a music video" at the wrong time??? I mean , that clip has been played and downloaded more in 24hrs than the clip of the Senator interrupting THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. And a couple of years ago when Seinfield's Michael Richards went on a racial tirade, it was the Seinfield DVD'S that increased in sales. What does this say as a country? As a people. Kanye West appeared sincere in his apology but will it be enough? If not, will it not be enough because out of the 3 example (Michael Richard's racial slurs , the S.C. Senator interrupting and disrespecting President Obama, and Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift's speech) , only 1 example includes a black male disrespecting a white person? You be the judge.....

On a side note, how can Taylor Swift win for best female video and beat out Beyonce' but not even get nominated for video of the year and Beyonce' win video of the year. Don't eat all this food the media is giving you. Take what you see and still make your own diet.
